About the ELCA
On the Day of Pentecost, people heard the good news in their own language. Acts 2:1-21
Regardless of age, race, or status in life, members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America welcome you to join this community of faith. If you’re unfamiliar with our church, some of what you learn may surprise you.
The ELCA is an engaged, active body of people who put faith in God into action -- in millions of ways, all over the world. Join us!
WHAT WE BELIEVE...
As a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, we confess our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We see the Bible as God’s Word to us, good news in a broken world. We encourage you to visit www.elca.org where you can explore many questions of the Christian faith and Lutheran tradition.
ABOUT THE LOWER SUSQUEHANNA SYNOD...
We are gathered and sent into the world to feed others in the name of Christ. You’ll find us in soup kitchens, and food pantries, at community events and potlucks, in neighborhoods, marketplaces, and on the job. We are deeply committed to feeding mind, body, and Spirit with the amazing grace and love of God. --Bishop James Dunlop
